About

A clinician, educator, and writer in modern anaesthesia.

Dr. Priyamvada Goel is an MD Anaesthesiologist from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and an MBBS Gold Medalist from Subharti Medical College. Her work sits at the intersection of perioperative care, intensive care, and the teaching of the next generation of clinicians.

Anaesthesia is a profession of small, accurate decisions repeated thousands of times. The patients who do best are usually the ones whose anaesthesiologist chose not to do anything dramatic.

That principle shapes the writing on this platform: most medical excellence is undramatic, structured, and learnable. The goal is to make it visible — to patients who want to understand, to students who want to think clearly, and to colleagues who want a place to read something honest.

Outside the operating room, the work is teaching: MBBS students, residents, and the institutions that train them. Medicine improves when its teachers do.
